Getting to Know the Content Management System (CMS)

Overview

This is a list of tools and icons that you will encounter while building and maintaining your Mobile Roadie apps inside our Content Management System (CMS). To learn more about each tool, click on the icon picture! 

Main Menu

The Main Menu Icons are found on the left side of the screen upon logging in to the CMS

  View Statistics about your app and your Users
  Build your App and edit content
 Design/Update App Theme and color scheme
 Manage users comments, photos, Ads, and access to API
 Send Push Notifications and manage rewards
 View app stats, see weekly emails, export data

Section Management

These Icons are found inside of the Build Menu and assist with the entry, management, layout, and organization of content inside of your Mobile Roadie Apps

Manage Content - Manage uploaded content
Add Content - Upload Content into your apps sections
Appearance - Edit section specific layout and display options 
Categories - Create, edit, and re-order categories
Manage Section - Set Fan Wall maximum points, edit Mailing List fields, Manage Store Web URL and  and Title, Standalone Twitter usernames/hashtag information, 

Edit and Comment Moderation Icons

Edit and comment moderation icons are primarily located in the Build and Manage Menu but can be found throughout the CMS.

  Gripper - Click on this to drag/drop content in the desired order
  Edit Button - Allows you to Edit pieces of content in the CMS
  Delete Button - Deletes items/content from the CMS 
  Lock Content Button - Allows content to be locked 
  Content QR Code - QR code for a particular piece of content
  Facebook Icon - User has signed in with a Facebook Account on your App.
  Twitter Icon - User has signed in with a Twitter Account on your App.
  Preview Button - Preview an archived weekly email or search for all user comments
  Show Map Button - Displays the location of a targeted Push Notification Location 
  Ban User - Button is used to Ban Users from posting on the Fan Wall
  Refresh Button - Button is used to refresh content/feeds in the CMS/App
  iPhone User - Indicates an iPhone User
  Android User - Indicates an Android User
 Anonymous User - Indicates an anonymous user not signed in with Facebook/Twitter 
  Flagged Comment - Indicates a Comment on the Fan Wall has been Flagged
  Flagged Comment - Flagged Comment in Moderator View
  Grid View - Sort Content by Grid
  List View  - Sort Content by List
  Required Icon - This is a required field
  Assigned Background - This Section has a background assigned to it
  Section Edit - Rename, Show, Hide, or Delete a Section from inside the Build Menu
  Tool Tip Icon - This Icon can be clicked on or moused over to display tips about Features, Options, and hints inside of the Mobile Roadie CMS!
  Search (Magnifying Glass) - Search for content within the app
WYSIWYG Editor - Additional text formatting and html entry

Build Menu Icons

  Attendees - List companies or people attending an Event/Conference
  Audio - Upload Music tracks and stream feeds such as radio stations
  Bio - For displaying text and a header image in your app, useful for a biography or About Us section.
  Books - Upload published book information, including direct Website URL links
  Custom Webpage - Link to any website from inside of your App
  Discography - Upload Music albums with Links for Fans to download
  Events - Keep your users up to date on Events and Shows 
  Fan Wall - A place for users and fans to post comments and photos
  Features - Feature and highlight content inside of your App 
  Home Gallery - Upload Images for the Home Screen Background
  Links - List related websites to your Band, Brand, or Company
  Lists/Directory - List products, members of a band, or other organization members
  Locations - Listing of locations and hotspots for your users
 Menus - Dazzle your users with your list of tasty treats 
  Mailing List - Create a mailing list users can subscribe to
  News - Keep everyone up to date with recent News
  Photocards - Users take photos of themselves using photo background templates
  Photos - Upload and share Photos with your users
  Speakers - Versatile section to display people, items, or text in list or coverflow 
  Store - Enter URL's to your online store
  Tip Calculator - Convenient TIp Calculator for your Users 
  Ustream - Connect your Ustream Account to your Mobile Roadie App
  Videos - Upload and share Videos with your users
  Sufficient Content - Sufficient content has been uploaded to display Section in App
  Insufficient Content - More Content is needed to display this Section inside of App
  Hidden Section - Hidden Sections will not display inside of App
