Scheduling An App Release Date

Overview

When apps are submitted to Mobile Roadie's App Submission Team, the iOS app is built/submitted to the iTunes app store to await Apple's review process (typically takes 7-14 business days). Once the iOS app is released to the iTunes App Store our App Submission Team will publish the Android app to the Play Store which will go live within 24 hours.

When a specific release date is needing to be set for an app on either app store, Mobile Roadie is able to schedule a publish date in the iTunes App Store and setup a calendar date to publish the app to the Play Store.

Scheduling a Release Date
Android

To schedule a future release date for your Android App, include the date which you would like your App published on in the App Submission Notes when your app is submitted to Mobile Roadie. 

**NOTE** If you do not contact support@mobileroadie.com to schedule a release date or do not include a date at the time of submission, you agree to allow Mobile Roadie to Publish your Android App to Google Play at any time after the App has been Submitted. 

iOS

**NOTE** Mobile Roadie CANNOT GUARANTEE RELEASE DATES IF YOUR APP IS STILL BEING REVIEWED BY APPLE. THIS REVIEW PROCESS TYPICALLY TAKES 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS FOR APPLE TO PROCESS AND APPROVE YOUR APP. MOBILE ROADIE CANNOT ACCELERATE THIS PROCESS IN ANY WAY. BECAUSE OF THIS, WE RECOMMEND SUBMITTING YOUR APP TO MOBILE ROADIE  AT LEAST 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE SCHEDULED RELEASED DATE TO ALLOW FOR MOBILE ROADIE PROCESSING AND THE APPLE APPROVAL PROCESS.

There are 2 options for scheduling future release dates for your iOS App. The easiest way is to include the date which you would like your App published on in the App Submission Notes when your app is submitted to Mobile Roadie. 

**NOTE** If you do not include a date at the time of submission and/or do not set a date inside of your iOS Developer Account, your App will go live in the App Store immediately after the Apple review process is completed

The other option is to log in to iTunes using your iOS Developer Credentials and set the release date inside of iTunes:

1. Log in to iTunes Connect

2. Navigate to 'My Apps'.

3. Select the App you would like to schedule a release date for, then hit 'Pricing' on the following screen

4. Set the date/price you would like your app to be available on inside of the iTunes Store and select Save.
