Mobile Roadie apps are designed and built for the latest iOS and Android devices and Operating System (OS) versions. While our apps are designed for these latest devices and OS versions, certain older devices and OS versions are still supported and allow Mobile Roadie apps to be installed and function. Below is a list of supported Operating System (OS) versions and supported devices on both iOS and Android!
Supported Operating System (OS) Versions and Devices for iOS and Android
All iOS devices running iOS 9.0 or higher are able to install and run Mobile Roadie apps. Currently this includes the iPhone 4s (not original iPhone 4), iPhone 5, iPhone 6, and iPhone 7 make/models of devices.
Mobile Roadie’s only requirement on Android is that devices are running the Gingerbread (2.3) Operating System (OS) or higher.
*Note* Once an app is submitted to the Play Store, Google will typically further restrict specific device makes/models based on the processing capabilities and features supported within those devices. These device restrictions are in no way influenced by or able to be changed by Mobile Roadie. Users with these non-supported devices would need to update to a supported device or side-load the .apk (download the app on a supported device and transfer .apk via sdk card or cloud storage to the non-supported device and install). Side-loading is at the sole risk of the user and is not guaranteed to allow the app to be installed and/or function properly.
